The radiogenic isotope database contains geochronological data managed by the Geological Survey of NSW (GSNSW). Isotopic systems / techniques are U-Pb, K-Ar, Ar-Ar, Rb-Sr, Pb-Pb, Re-Os, Sm-Nd and provenance. The database stores location and sample collection information, lithological description, analytical and interpretation information for geological samples in New South Wales. The database includes links to stratigraphic unit, mineral occurrence and drill hole data.

This spatial dataset is a derivative product of the New South Wales Mineral Occurence Database (also known as New South Wales MetIndEx). It records over 31,000 known mineral occurrences throughout NSW. These records have been compiled from resource and production data compiled from both historic and current mining operations records held by the Geological Survey of NSW. Data records start from a state-wide Metallogenic Mapping program developed by the Survey in the late 1960s and are continuously improved via mandatory reporting. The alternative name MetIndEx refers to the METallics, INDustrial minerals and Exploration discoveries database of economic mineral deposits and occurrences in New South Wales. The data has been migrated over various databases from Microsoft Access to Oracle and SQL Server. The location data has also had multiple datum changes since the original database was compiled. The data is being continuously improved and refined by the custodians on an irregular basis. This data is part of the New South Wales Geoscientific Data Warehouse (NSW GDW) series.

The Windimurra, 2015: 3D Geomodel Series contains both 3D and 2D geoscientific data that complements GSWA Record 2015/12. Themes vary between 3D and 2D, with the emphasis being on 3D modelling at 1:1 000 000 scale, while 2D data supports context for the region at various scales from 1:100 000 to 1:2 500 000 scale. The 3D and 2D data are held in Map Grid of Australia 1994 (MGA94) zone 50 eastings and northings.

The Geochemistry (Whole Rock) dataset contains information about the chemistry of rocks sampled in New South Wales and held by the Geological Survey of NSW (GSNSW). The data has been captured from analyses conducted by the GSNSW and from other work including academic research & collaborative projects, mineral exploration reports and geoscientific publications. The database contains geochemical analyses on nearly 27,000 rock samples which have been collected from field work and drilling activities which date back to the nineteenth century. There are also a small number of assay & hydro-geochemical results. It is an important dataset as the whole rock analysis of rocks for major and trace elements allows classification of the lithology of a rock and provides insight into the conditions in which the rocks formed as well as their economic potential.
